  Over 5,000 parents, teachers & children have participated in one of Scott's Playshops or Parent-Child Retreats since 1997.
  Scott has trained over 2500 counselors, teachers, and other leaders to facilitate Playshops & Parent-Child Retreats throughout the U.S.
  Scott founded the national "Read and Ride" program for students to ride exercise bikes while reading magazines. It was one of 10 schools recognized by the White House in 2014 as an innovative program for preventing childhood obesity and promoting literacy.

Scott performed comedy magic & juggling for over 3,000 circus and school audiences for children of all ages from 1988-1996!

For 10 summers, Scott directed the Fun Magic Camp in Winston-Salem, teaching children the art of performing magic. Over 400 children have enjoyed learning magic.

Scott has published articles in many state and national magazines, including the National PTA magazine, "Our Children."

Entrepreneur
Scott invented Bouncy Bands in 2013 for students to "wiggle while they work" by bouncing their feet on a heavy-duty band attached to their desk or chair. Clemson University researchers found that students using Bouncy Bands stayed on task 11% more than students without Bouncy Bands. His company was one of the 100 top companies on Amazon to be invited to their 2018 summit in New Orleans.
